Russian Robotics Week 2023

Russian Robotics Week 2023 took place for the fifth time

From December 11 to 15, 2023, the Russian Robotics Week was held in St. Petersburg, organized by Cluster Creonomyca.

The program of the Russian Robotics Week 2023 included: V International Robotics Forum (an exhibition of robotic innovations and an extensive business program), competitions in the Robotics Skills format.

The forum was attended by over 1000 people from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, China, as well as delegations from friendly countries, who were united by the forum theme: Russian robotics – building new value chains.

At the exhibition, representatives of the robotics industry demonstrated their developments to visitors. At the stand of the General Partner of the Forum, Concern R-Pro, a group of companies supplying high-tech products and services in the fields of robotization, digitalization and engineering, the guests of the Event were presented with: Software “Rational Production”, including the latest development of Concern R-Pro – digital environment for offline programming of robotic welding, as well as welding and collaborative robots.

The official partners were:
LLC “Industrial Automation Systems” – a Belarusian company that presented at the Exhibition a robot chess player, which worked in dairy production for a long time, and has now been reprogrammed;
Savushkin Product. The company presented an entertaining stand for tasting a range of yoghurts, which were poured by a robot bartender. In production, such collaborative robots are used for packaging and storing finished products;
The Unique Robots company brought an industrial robotic manipulator of its own production, which can be used for painting, welding, cutting, marking, and moving goods.

Among the exhibitors there were also stands of the Forum’s partners. At the stand of DiKom Service LLC, two solutions were presented that make it possible to implement the concept of unmanned production: a robotic cell based on a collaborative robot and a mobile loading robot that combines an automated storage system with production workshops into a single complex that can work almost without people.

Visitors also remembered other exhibitors. At the AM ENGINEERING stand, a robotic loader with pneumatic and mechanical types of grippers demonstrated its capabilities, and at the Yurobot company, visitors were treated to a construction robotic trolley, which carries out the functions of transporting materials and tools around the construction site, and television inspection of objects. ElitMatic, which is involved in optimizing production in many industries, demonstrated at the exhibition a robot that simulates welding. The company Anserem, which creates solutions for business process management based on the platforms of leading vendors, and the online robotics school Skillbox also took part in the exposition with a stand. NPTK “Suprotek” took part in the collective stand of the Cluster Creonomyca as part of the Exhibition and spoke about how the company’s products extend the life cycle of equipment.

All three days of the Forum there was an extensive Business program. On December 13, the Opening Ceremony of the Russian Robotization Week took place; Anatoly  Kotov, Special Representative of the Governor of St. Petersburg for Economic Development, Andrey  Dorokhin, Development Director of DiKom-Service LLC, Alexey Korablev, addressed the participants and guests of the forum with welcoming words , President of Concern R-Pro, Chairman of the Board of the Cluster Creonomyca, and the moderator read out welcoming words from the Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg, Kirill Polyakov, and the Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg, Vladimir Knyaginin.

The experts discussed how value chains can be built within the framework of changing external conditions, and came to the following conclusions: the task of representatives of the robotics industry is to create new solutions and talk about them, the task of customers is to set new tasks and requirements to stimulate market development. On the part of the education sector, the task is to train personnel who will not only be specialists in the field of robotics and mechatronics, but also to reach the level when a representative of each specialty is familiar with the concept of industrial robotization, so that employees have the opportunity to offer management new solutions for transformation and robotization processes, without fear that their proposals would be perceived as irrational, and could argue the benefits and prospects of the proposed innovations.

The Plenary session on the topic “Reforming the robotization market in Russia and cooperation with friendly countries – first results, barriers, opportunities” was attended by Alexey Korablev, President of the R-Pro Concern, Chairman of the Board of the Cluster Creonomyca, Andrey Dorokhin, Development Director of LLC “DiKom-Service”, Yulia Antokhina, Rector of St. Petersburg State University of Aviation Administration, Turekhanov Vladimir Baydullaevich, President of the ALE “Kazakhstan Association of Automation and Robotics”,  Andrey Svitich, Deputy Director for IT of OJSC “Savushkin Product”.

The moderator was Olga Mudrova, Executive Director of the National Association of Robotics Market Participants (NAURR).

Within the framework of the discussion sections of the Business Program, issues related to the following areas were raised:
• State support measures for robotics,
• Service and android robotics. Unmanned vehicles, drones and AGV robots,
• International cooperation in robotics,
• Robotization in instrument making, microelectronics and light industry,
• Digital twins and offline programming of robots. Digital robotic production management,
• Robotization in construction, woodworking and furniture production,
• Robotization in industry, mechanical engineering and metalworking,
• Robotization in warehouse logistics,
• Robotization in the oil and gas sector, offshore projects and energy,
• Robotization in food production and agriculture,
• Robotization in the pharmaceutical industry and medicine,
• Robotics for children and youth,
• Robotization in machine tool industry.

Alexey Korablev, President of Concern R-Pro, Chairman of the Board of the Cluster Creonomyca, spoke about innovative solutions of Concern R-Pro in the areas of robotization and digitalization of production, the use of digital twins in construction, mechanical engineering, the oil and gas industry, machine tool building, as well as educational projects proposed by the company in this area. Victoria Litun, executive director of Concern R-Pro, revealed the topics of using a digital production twin as a management tool and spoke about two working methods to reduce the cost and speed up robotization with its help. Business Development Director of Concern R-Pro Maxim Korablev demonstrated Concern R-Pro solutions for AGV robotization and digitalization, for the areas of Hi-Tech and warehouse logistics.
